
Wander Luxury Travel — General Terms & Conditions
For Individual Luxury Travel Planning Services
Wander Travel Company, LLC d/b/a Wander Luxury Travel (“Wander Luxury Travel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides custom luxury travel planning, concierge travel services, international itinerary design, wellness travel planning, and supplier coordination services for our clients (“Traveler,” “Client,” “you,” or “your”).
By submitting payment, authorizing bookings, signing electronically, or otherwise engaging Wander Luxury Travel for travel services, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Agency Relationship
Wander Luxury Travel acts solely as an independent intermediary and sales agent for disclosed third-party travel suppliers including, but not limited to:
- hotels
- resorts
- airlines
- cruise lines
- tour operators
- destination management companies
- transportation providers
- excursion operators
- wellness providers
- travel insurance companies
We do not own, operate, manage, or control these independent suppliers or their services.
All transportation, accommodations, excursions, activities, and travel services are provided by independent suppliers subject to their own terms, conditions, policies, and operational decisions.
Traveler acknowledges that Wander Luxury Travel is not liable for:
- supplier acts or omissions
- personal injury
- illness
- delays
- schedule changes
- cancellations
- force majeure events
- bankruptcy or insolvency
- service interruptions
- labor disputes
- accidents
- property loss
- governmental actions
- border restrictions
- public health events
- acts of terrorism
- weather events
- transportation disruptions
Traveler further acknowledges that Wander Luxury Travel does not guarantee the financial solvency, performance, safety standards, or operational consistency of any supplier.
2. Professional Planning Fees
Wander Luxury Travel charges professional planning and concierge service fees for custom itinerary design, research, supplier coordination, consultation time, revisions, booking management, and travel advisory services.
Planning fees are:
- non-refundable
- separate from supplier charges
- earned immediately upon engagement
Planning fees remain non-refundable regardless of:
- cancellation
- itinerary changes
- supplier changes
- traveler decisions not to book
- travel disruptions of any kind
3. Booking & Payment Terms
A deposit may be required to confirm travel arrangements. Deposits and payments may be non-refundable depending on supplier terms and conditions.
Final payment dates vary by supplier and destination. Failure to make payments on time may result in cancellation of travel arrangements and applicable penalties.
Prices are subject to change until confirmed and deposited.
Customized itineraries may include independently sourced travel components subject to separate supplier terms and cancellation policies.
Traveler is responsible for reviewing all confirmations, invoices, itineraries, and travel documents immediately upon receipt and notifying Wander Luxury Travel promptly of any errors or discrepancies.
4. Airline Terms & Schedule Changes
Airfare is subject to airline contract terms and conditions.
Airlines may modify:
- schedules
- routing
- aircraft type
- seat assignments
- airports
- departure times
without prior notice.
Wander Luxury Travel is not responsible for airline schedule changes, delays, cancellations, additional expenses, denied boarding, seating assignments, or airfare penalties.
Traveler should not purchase non-refundable airfare until advised by Wander Luxury Travel that itinerary components are confirmed.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
Supplier cancellation policies apply to all bookings and may result in substantial penalties, loss of deposits, or complete forfeiture of funds.
Refunds, future travel credits, or vouchers are solely subject to supplier policies.
Wander Luxury Travel is not responsible for:
- supplier refusal to issue refunds
- supplier bankruptcy
- supplier insolvency
- delays in refund processing
Unused travel components are non-refundable.
If Traveler cancels travel after departure begins, no refunds will be provided for unused portions.
6. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel protection coverage is strongly recommended for all travelers and strongly encouraged for international travel, wellness travel, and retreat travel.
Traveler understands that travel insurance may provide coverage for:
- trip cancellation
- interruption
- medical expenses
- evacuation
- baggage loss
- supplier default
- travel delays
- public health disruptions
Traveler acknowledges that declining travel insurance means Traveler assumes all financial risk associated with cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, supplier default, travel disruption, or unforeseen events.
Wander Luxury Travel is not qualified to evaluate the adequacy of any insurance policy or advise on specific coverage needs.
7. Health, Entry Requirements & Travel Disruptions
Traveler is solely responsible for understanding and complying with all:
- passport requirements
- visa requirements
- vaccination requirements
- health documentation
- entry restrictions
- testing requirements
- customs regulations
- local laws
applicable to travel destinations and transit countries.
Passports should generally remain valid for at least six (6) months beyond travel dates unless otherwise specified by destination requirements.
Traveler acknowledges that travel may involve exposure to illness, disease, public health risks, quarantines, governmental restrictions, border closures, or supplier operational changes beyond the control of Wander Luxury Travel.
Traveler voluntarily assumes all risks associated with travel, including illness, medical treatment abroad, quarantine expenses, travel interruptions, and governmental restrictions.
Wander Luxury Travel shall not be liable for denied entry, denied boarding, missed travel, or additional expenses resulting from Traveler’s failure to comply with travel requirements.
8. Assumption of Risk
Traveler understands that travel involves inherent risks which may include:
- illness
- injury
- accidents
- political instability
- terrorism
- weather disruptions
- transportation accidents
- criminal acts
- foodborne illness
- waterborne illness
- remote locations
- limited medical access
- supplier negligence
Traveler voluntarily assumes all such risks on behalf of themselves and any accompanying travelers.
Traveler releases and holds harmless Wander Luxury Travel and its owners, employees, advisors, contractors, and affiliates from claims arising from acts, omissions, events, or conditions beyond our direct control.
9. Wellness, Activity & Excursion Participation
Traveler acknowledges that certain travel experiences and activities may involve physical exertion or inherent risks, including but not limited to:
- yoga
- hiking
- boating
- swimming
- fitness activities
- spa experiences
- adventure excursions
- wildlife experiences
- alcohol consumption
- water activities
Traveler voluntarily participates in such activities at their own risk and is solely responsible for determining their physical fitness and ability to participate.
Traveler agrees to consult appropriate medical professionals regarding health concerns prior to travel.
10. Documentation Requirements
Traveler is solely responsible for obtaining and carrying:
- valid passports
- visas
- vaccination records
- REAL ID compliant identification
- parental consent documents
- required medical documentation
Wander Luxury Travel is not responsible for costs, losses, or disruptions resulting from improper or incomplete documentation.
11. Chargebacks
Traveler agrees not to initiate improper credit card chargebacks.
By submitting payment authorization, Traveler acknowledges acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and applicable supplier policies.
Improper chargebacks include disputes arising from:
- agreed cancellation penalties
- force majeure events
- supplier terms
- authorized family member charges
- non-refundable services
Wander Luxury Travel reserves the right to dispute improper chargebacks and recover associated costs and attorney’s fees.
12. Force Majeure
Wander Luxury Travel shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, injuries, losses, damages, or additional expenses arising from events beyond our reasonable control including:
- natural disasters
- severe weather
- pandemics
- epidemics
- governmental actions
- border closures
- labor disputes
- acts of terrorism
- political unrest
- supplier operational failures
- transportation interruptions
- quarantine restrictions
- civil unrest
- war
- public health emergencies
In such events, refunds and credits remain subject solely to supplier policies.
13. Hosted Group & Retreat Travel
Wander Luxury Travel may occasionally host, coordinate, escort, or facilitate group trips, retreats, or wellness experiences.
However, all transportation, accommodations, excursions, wellness services, and travel components remain operated by independent suppliers.
Traveler acknowledges that Wander Luxury Travel acts solely as coordinator and intermediary for such experiences and does not assume responsibility for supplier operations or participant conduct.
Additional retreat-specific terms may apply.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wander Luxury Travel shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages.
Any liability shall be limited to the amount of planning fees paid directly to Wander Luxury Travel.
15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
Any disputes shall be brought exclusively in the State of New Jersey.
Traveler agrees to waive any right to participate in class actions or representative proceedings against Wander Luxury Travel.
Traveler further agrees to provide written notice of any claim within thirty (30) days of the conclusion or cancellation of travel.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is deemed unenforceable, all remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
